Seelisberg is a small village in Canton Uri, Central Switzerland and this place was chosen by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in the 70’s to establish Maharishi European Research University (MERU) for students of Vedic Knowledge .Maharishi Ayurveda is an authentic ayurveda treatment center and recognized by the AYUSH .We are a member of the European Association for Ayurveda and the Swiss Association for Maharishi Ayurveda.
Our herbal medicines are marketed through Maharishi Ayurveda which are grown in India and of good quality both in India and Europe. It is the first Ayurveda Centre started in Europe to offer outpatient consultation, for a short stay and longer Panchakarma treatments. Our doctor has more than 20 years experience in allopathic medicine as well as Ayurveda. Our therapists are well trained and you are suggested a customized treatment plan as per your own health condition.
The massages and treatments are done by 2 therapists. As per our tradition, women are treated by women and men by men .According to your own imbalances in the body medicated oils and treatment pastes are prepared with ayurvedic organic herbs . These are specially designed for Panchakarma, 100% vegetarian, mostly organic, warm and always freshly prepared, they are cooked with utmost care.
