Govt. Ayurvedic Hospital Patiala is one of the reputed institutes of Ayurveda in Punjab for evolving high standards of training,teaching,patient care and research activities. It was established in 1952 under the affiliation of PEPSU Ayurvedic Board and Punjab Ayurvedic & Unani Faculty of medicine and now {Affiliated to Guru Ravidas Ayurved University, Hoshiarpur, Punjab}
Our aim is :
- To produce graduates and diploma holders in the field of Ayurveda.
- To promote the growth of Ayurveda.
- To conduct Research Activities of Ayurveda system of Medicine.
- To provide Medical Care through Ayurveda System of Medicine.
The hospital has a 106 bedded Hospital with out-patient & in-patient facility, a fully equipped Laboratory for investigations like Urine Tests,Hematological Tests, Serological Tests & ECG, Biochemical Tests, Operation Theaters, a Panchakarma Unit and special rooms for performing surgical procedures likeJalokavacharana, Kshar Sutra, Agnikarma, Siravedha etc. we do organize various Medical Camps to promote the knowledge of Ayurveda medicine to common public.There are 7 OPD’s in the department of Kayachikitsa,Geriatrics, Shalaya, Panchkarma, Balaroga, Shalakya,Striroga, Swasthavritta and Yoga and 6 IPD’s except Swasthavritta and Yoga respectively.
