Anjaneya Ayurveda Hospital & Kalari Marma Chikilsalayam was founded by Unnikrishnan Gurukkal chief physician , Vayaskara Moos who is one of the Ashtavaidyas of Kerala at the age of 16. Meanwhile he also practsed Kalaripayattu, the martial art form of Kerala. He learnt both styles of northern and southern forms of Kalaripayattu .
His compassion towards Ayurveda made his master Vayaskara Moos thought some deeper knowledge about medicines and ayurvedic treatments . Under the guidance from his grandfather Vaidyar Kalathur Panikar , a well known physician in his place.From there he got to practice Ayurveda and Marma Chikilsa in the traditional way.
Unnikrishnan Gurukkal’s Anjaneya Ayurveda Hospital & Kalari Marma Chikilsalayam has been offering health services since then. He then became a reputed Ayurvedic practitioner in this remote part of India.He brought his entire family into this field,because of his passion towards Ayurveda. By word of mouth and the recovery of chronic patients, the clinic became a specialty centre for the treatment of neurological problems like paralysis and chronic musculo-skeletal ailments.
