Panchakarma is an detoxifying treatment that follows Ayurveda like Charaka Samhita. Panchakarma about purification of the body. The five actions of Panchakarma are Vamana, Virechana ,Kashaya Vasti and Sneha Vasti and Nasya . At a preparatory stage called Poorvakarma body is prepared for removing “toxins” first through Snehanam and second through Swedanam . The third and final stage of treatment is Samana or Paschatkarma .
